Apogee Overview

The definition of Apogee is the pinnacle, the highest point. And it is oh so appropriate for this South Beach building, the brainchild of uber-developer Jorge Perez of the Related Group. Every tiny thing about the building - and the 3,103 and 4,154 square-foot condos - scream luxury, privilege, pampered living, and extreme perfection, from the state of the art technology (we're talking sound-proof walls between apartments, spy-like fingerprint door entry, wiring for automatic drapery, custom lighting schemes, built-in coffee makers, a master remote control for the whole house) to haute amenities (calling the valet to retrieve your car, concierge service, a fully-equipped state-of-the-art gym, an infinity lap pool, an on-site spa, and even a button to make a spa appointment).

The sleek, super-modern all-glass building, which sits on a lit-up pool, was designed by award-winning Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership and the lobby and common space was the creation of Yabu Pushelberg, one of the foremost interior designers in the world. The lobby and common spaces are adorned with contemporary art by Cuban-born Miami-based artist Jose Bedia.

All apartments have 10-foot ceilings, two dishwashers in the kitchen (one for the china and one for the crystal, darling), 11-foot wide balconies with outdoor cooking built-in, two Miele smart ovens and warmer drawers, rain shower heads and sunken tubs in the master bathroom, sub-zero wine storage for 132 bottles, custom lighting schemes. The list goes on. The finest wood finishing for cabinetry, steam showers, a mini emergency kitchen in the master suite, decked-out closets, dramatic ocean and city views from each apartment, and major tri-level penthouses (three), all with their own rooftop pool. There are only very few apartments available for resale (of 67) and “maybe” one penthouse left on the market (Any offer above $22 Mill. and the owner is listening). Major design budget required to live here! Scratch that. Living here means a life of no budgets at all.
